Cee Purlins (C-Purlin)

A C-purlin sometimes referred to as a cee purlin, is a metal channel that is used in construction projects, typically for building metal buildings, carports, and metal roofs. Purlins traditionally go longitudinally along the roof. They provide support and structure for the roofing panels. Metroll offers Cee purlins in both, punched and unpunched. Cee purlins come in a variety of whole punch sizes. Metroll can produce purlins up to 45 feet in length depending on the gauge.

GAUGES

Purlins are formed from sheet metal. A sheet metal gauge indicates the standard thickness of sheet metal for a specific material. As the gauge number increases, the material thickness decreases. Metroll offers 10, 12, 14, and 16 Gauge.
