Metroll Steel Deck

Metroll Steel Deck Roof and Floor Deck systems are engineered to function as vital structural components in steel-framed constructions. During standard manufacturing, handling, and transportation processes, minor scratching and denting on panel bundles may occur. These surface imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not compromise the deck’s structural integrity.

Painted B-Deck AND W2 Deck

Metroll Painted B-Deck & W2 panels are produced from G60 Galvanized steel and a factory-applied polyester finish. We offer the flexibility to add a white or gray finish to either the top or underside of the deck surface. This improves interim resistance to surface corrosion and enhances ease of field painting. This option is ideal for installations where the deck is left exposed once installed, as the finish can be post-painted to meet any interior project vision.

Factory-applied primer is an impermanent interim coating that is intended to have finish paint applied after the deck is installed. The galvanized with prime paint option may eliminate the need for any special surface preparation for field-applied paint applications, which is often a requirement for chemically treated bare galvanized steel deck panels.

Surface marks and/or scratches from handling and transport are cosmetic only and do not affect the deck's structural performance – as such these surface marks and/or scratches are not a cause for rejection.

Matte Black Roofing Panels (Color)

Please note that the appearance of our Matte Black roofing panels will vary depending on lighting conditions. Matte finishes naturally reflect light differently than standard gloss coatings. As a result:

  • In direct sunlight, the panels may appear slightly lighter or exhibit a soft sheen.

  • In shaded areas or indirect light, the color may look deeper, darker, or more muted.

  • Large roof surfaces may also show subtle tonal shifts when viewed from different angles or at different times of the day.

These characteristics are inherent to all matte-coated metal roofing products and do not indicate a defect.

Cold Rolled Corodek (Buckling)

Please note: Due to the natural characteristics of cold-rolled steel and the roll-forming process, Cold Rolled Corodek panels may exhibit minor rippling or buckling along the surface. This is a normal cosmetic occurrence and does not affect the panel’s performance, durability, or structural integrity. It is not considered a defect and is not grounds for rejection or replacement.
